The thoughts and teaching on this site are targeted at believers in Messiah Yeshua (called "Jesus" since about 300ad) who also "keep the commandments" of Torah as stated in Rev. 12:17, 14:12 and 22:14. _________________________________________________________________________ If you are new to the idea of practicing the faith as did Yeshua, the apostles and the early church, then please visit our sister site The Lost Teachings of Jesus first. __________________________________________________________________________ Click HERE to continue reading What Is the Olive Tree Post? _________________________________________________________________________________________

You Are The Laboratory

The Kabbalists teach that: “Somewhere there is an Adam within each of us that is in need of restoration – in exile from the garden. The aim of the Kabbalah is to restore that divine man in the medium of the mortal man. We are the laboratory.”

The truth therefore is that we are all born broken and seperated from God.  The goal of life is to strive for reconnection to God in every area of our lives.  Our goal is to make it back to the garden.

Some of us are disconnected in many areas of our lives and some may only be disconnected in a few. Inherent in the nature of the Jew is a connectedness in many areas that are a result of God's special relationship with the Jew.  On the other extreme we find the Gentiles who have never had a relationship with God and need a Messiah to help them bridge the gap before they can even attempt to begin this reconnection process.

Regardless of which of these two extremes we are closest to, the fact remains that we all have work to do. Therefore, in life, the only one who fails is the one who never tries, or who tries and then gives up. IN THE TRYING ITSELF, you go from a grade of F to a grade of D-. (At least you're passing!)

Our goal in life is to end up with an A. This may take some 20 years, others 80 year and others will never achieve it. But that is okay, because in one sense of this mission, it is the trying itself, not the attainment of the goal, that is true success.  Or, as Scripture would define it, makes one righteous.

Prov 24:16  For a just man falleth seven times, and riseth up again: but the wicked shall fall into mischief.
